Where do we meet?

We meet for Parent Coaching over Zoom. Workshops have the option of Zoom or In-Person.

How long is a parent coaching session?

We meet 5 times. Each session is 1 hr.

How much time is between the 5 sessions?

Ideally, we meet every other week. The schedule is flexible to what works for you.

Do you take insurance?

No, parent coaching cannot be paid using health insurance.

Do both parents need to join the session?

Accepted Answer

Ideally, it is best to have both parents at sessions so you can use the same language and framework in your home. However, I understand that there are circumstances that sometimes make it possible for only one parent to be present.

What is the difference between Parent Coaching and a Workshop?

Parent coaching is one-on-one with parents. During this time we talk about the unique situations that are happening in your home. Using the Connected Families framework I guide our time discussing a variety of tools. 
Workshops online or in-person are designed around a topic and attended by a group.

Do I need to be a parent for parent coaching?

No. I also coach grandparents and caregivers. If you spend time with kids, we can talk about your experiences and tools you can start using today.
